Cyborg shortens every cyberware cooldown, provided V has filled every available slot. It is a reward for going all the way with chrome rather than picking and choosing. It sits in the cyberware branch of the Technical Ability tree. The condition is demanding and the payoff applies to the whole body.
Effect
Cooldowns are what limit a cyberware build. The implants are powerful and they are rationed by time, so cutting that time is the same as using them more often.
The requirement is that no slot is left empty anywhere. That takes capacity, and it means the build has to carry implants it might not otherwise choose simply to keep the bonus running.
How to Unlock Cyborg
It sits behind the Phenom gate of the Technical Ability tree and is bought from License To Chrome.
Perk Tree
Cyborg is bought from License To Chrome in the Technical Ability tree.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| License To Chrome | Phenom (15) | +10% to all cyberware stat modifiers. |
Character Builds
The build is a fully chromed build with no empty slots anywhere, which takes a great deal of capacity and some willingness to carry implants it does not need.
Buy it at the Phenom gate from License To Chrome. Renaissance Punk, the Engineer skill and All Things Cyber all help meet the condition, and Extended Warranty is the natural partner, since one lengthens the effects and this one shortens the wait.
Notes
Extended Warranty lengthens the windows the implants open, and this perk shortens the wait between them.
All Things Cyber and License To Chrome both reduce capacity cost or raise capacity, which is what makes filling every slot possible.
