Lucky Day makes looting pay better. Containers, bodies and shelves hand over a quarter more crafting components than they otherwise would. It sits in the cyberware branch of the Technical Ability tree. Crafting and upgrading are what Technical Ability is for, and both run on components.
Effect
Components are the currency of the crafting system. Upgrading a weapon or an implant consumes them, and the better the quality, the more it takes.
Raising what every pickup gives means the stockpile grows faster than it is spent. In practice that is the difference between upgrading the weapon V is using and waiting until there is enough.
How to Unlock Lucky Day
It sits behind the Pro gate of the Technical Ability tree and is bought from All Things Cyber.
Perk Tree
Lucky Day is bought from All Things Cyber in the Technical Ability tree.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| All Things Cyber | Pro (9) | +10% to all cyberware stat modifiers |
Character Builds
The build is a crafting build, which in this game means a Technical Ability build upgrading its own weapons and implants rather than buying better ones.
Buy it at the Pro gate from All Things Cyber. The Engineer skill levels from crafting, upgrading and disassembling, so a build that takes this perk is also levelling that skill faster, and its rewards include a large increase to every cyberware stat modifier.
Notes
Crafting specs are what turn those components into weapons, mods and consumables.
Disassembling unwanted gear is the other source of components, and the Engineer skill levels from it.
