Mad Dash

| Class | Reflexes Perk |
| Attribute | Reflexes |
| Tier | Pro (9) |
| Levels | 1 |
| Requires | Dash |
Mad Dash doubles the reach of a dash aimed at an enemy. A move that was a reposition becomes a way to arrive, which is exactly what a blade build needs between cover and a target. It is part of the movement branch of the Reflexes tree. The extra range only applies when the dash is heading towards someone.
Effect
The direction is the condition. Dashing sideways or backwards behaves normally and dashing at an enemy carries V twice as far.
That makes the perk an opener. Distance that used to need a sprint can be crossed in one move, and the move itself is fast enough that the Reflexes protection is at its highest while it happens.
How to Unlock Mad Dash
It sits behind the Pro gate of the Reflexes tree and is bought from Dash.
Perk Tree
Mad Dash is bought from Dash in the Reflexes tree.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dash | Pro (9) | -20% Stamina cost for dodging and dashing. |
Buying Mad Dash opens the perks below.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flash And Thunderclap | Pro (9) | When performing Strong Attacks, you now automatically leap to enemies within range. These Leap Attacks can be also performed from midair and deal additional damage that scales with the distance of the leap (max +50%). |
Character Builds
It belongs to a blade Reflexes build, which is the one that needs to arrive rather than reposition. A katana is the weapon.
Buy it at the Pro gate after Dash, and take Can't Touch This with it so the long approach is protected. Flash And Thunderclap needs this perk bought, and that is where the branch ends up, with a strong attack leaping the last of the distance on its own.
Notes
Flash And Thunderclap needs it bought, and that perk turns a strong blade attack into an automatic leap, so the two together cover the whole approach.
Can't Touch This covers the same dash with mitigation, which makes a long approach through fire survivable.
