Slaughterhouse makes everything V does with a blade bleed. Attacks, counterattacks and deflected bullets all apply it, which raises the chance of dismemberment and hands stamina back for each limb taken. It sits at the top of the blade branch of the Reflexes tree. It is the perk that turns a katana build into a blender.

Effect

Bleeding cannot kill on its own, so this is not a damage over time perk in the usual sense. What it does is mark enemies as vulnerable, both to dismemberment and to finishers.

The stamina return closes the loop. Dismemberment hands back part of the bar, the bar pays for more attacks, and more attacks apply more bleeding, so a fight with enough bodies in it sustains itself.

It sits behind the Legend gate of the Reflexes tree, so almost every point V has goes into Reflexes. Finisher: Bladerunner must be fully bought first.

Character Builds

The build is the blade Reflexes build at the end of its tree, with nearly every point in Reflexes. A katana is the weapon and the deflection line should already be bought, since deflected rounds count as attacks here.

Buy it as the Legend gate opens, after Finisher: Bladerunner is fully in place. Opportunist is what turns the bleeding into finishers, and the stamina returned by dismemberment is what pays for the swings that cause it, so the branch becomes self sustaining at this point.

Opportunist makes bleeding enemies easier to finish, and this perk makes everything bleed, so the two are a pair.

Deflected bullets count as attacks here, which means the deflection line in the same tree also applies bleeding.
