Dragon's Aegis in Dragon's Dogma 2, is a large and sturdy shield known for its excellent physical defense and good knockdown power. It cannot be dropped by enemies, but can be purchased from merchants.
A shield worthy of its namesake. Strong as the hide of the ferocious creature for which it was named, it fills the wielder with unflagging vigor.

Smithing Upgrade Guide
Each weapon and armor in Dragon's Dogma 2 can be upgraded 3 times. There are five possible smithing upgrade paths to choose from: Vermundian, Elven, Battahli, Dwarven and Wyrmfire each effecting the weapon or armor's stats differently.
