Golden Trove Beetle Locations
Golden Trove Beetles are rare beetles that glitter like gold, found clinging to trees across Vermund, Battahl and Agamen Volcanic Island. Eating one raises the weight the Arisen can carry by 0.15 kg, the main pawn gains the same increase, and the bonus builds with every beetle eaten.

About Golden Trove Beetles
A beetle goes into the inventory as an implement when picked up and takes effect once it is used from there. Each one adds 0.15 kg to the Arisen's carry weight and the same amount to the main pawn's, and the increases stack with every beetle eaten.
A beetle is also the reward for The Gift of Giving, the Vernworth side quest in which the Arisen brings Daphne everything she asks for. The travelling merchant Folkes sells them as well. Ibrahim's Scrap Store can forge a copy, but the result is a counterfeit called the Golden Stove Beetle.
How to Find Golden Trove Beetles
Beetles rest on or beside tree trunks, very often along roads and dirt paths, so the trees at the roadside are the first place to look.
Night is the best time to search. The beetles glow brightly in the dark, which makes them much easier to spot than by daylight.
Pawns who know an area point out finds they have seen in other worlds, and giving the Go! command straight after such a remark sends them to lead the way.
