Wakestone Shard Locations
Wakestone Shards are fragments charged with miraculous magick, and three of them form a Wakestone, the stone that restores the dead to life. Shards wait in chests across Vermund and Battahl, and the Dragon's Gaze marks the nearest ones on the map.

About Wakestone Shards
A whole Wakestone is the game's revival item. When the Arisen falls with one in the inventory, it can bring them straight back, and used close to a dead resident of the world it revives that person too. Bodies are soon carried off to the Vermund Charnel House or the Battahl Morgue, and a Wakestone still works on them there.
Many low-level pawns offer a shard as the reward for their first pawn quest, so hiring those pawns and completing their quests is a steady way to gather shards. The travelling merchants Domingo and Marcello sell shards, and so does Ibrahim's Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town. Whole Wakestones are also rewards for the quests Disa's Plot and A New Godsway.
Restoring someone with a Wakestone unlocks the achievement The Savior, and doing so at a morgue or charnel house unlocks Thought I'd Lost You.
How to Find Wakestone Shards
Shards mostly sit inside chests, among them the chests in Ulrika's House in Melve, the Vermund Charnel House and the Battahl Morgue.
The Dragon's Gaze, an implement that reveals nearby shards and notes them on the map, makes the search far quicker. One lies in a chest at the top of the Vernworth Castle watchtower, and another is the reward for the main quest The Nameless Village.
Wakestone Shard Achievement
Finding them counts towards the achievement The Savior.
