The Iron Shield is a Shield in Dragon's Dogma 2. Compared to other shields available early on its quite heavy with a low defensive value, and can be easily replaced early on by the Feather-Light Pelta . The shield can be wielded by the Fighter and is not dropped by any enemies.
A shield of common quality, wielded far and wide. Heavy on the arm but well sturdy in a scrap.
How to get the Iron Shield Guide
- Can be purchased at Roderick's Smithy
- Located inside a chest in Timeworn Shaft
- Can be looted from a chest in the Castle Training Grounds of Vernworth Palace.
Smithing Upgrade Guide
Each weapon and armor in Dragon's Dogma 2 can be upgraded 3 times. There are five possible smithing upgrade paths to choose from: Vermundian, Elven, Battahli, Dwarven and Wyrmfire each effecting the weapon or armor's stats differently.
