Superior Criteria are a set of unique golden coated Daggers in Dragon's Dogma 2 and are a more valuable variant of the basic Criteria daggers. While they don't possess any significant damage improvement compared to their variant, they are a nice set to have in a collection. Can only be used by Thief vocation. Another weapon exclusive to players who pre-ordered the game is Superior Trusty Sword.

Criteria treated with a fine coat of gilt. Honed to a sharper edge than the standard blades, they are prized among thieves for their efficacy in battle.

Smithing Upgrade Guide

Each weapon and armor in Dragon's Dogma 2 can be upgraded 3 times. There are five possible smithing upgrade paths to choose from: Vermundian, Elven, Battahli, Dwarven and Wyrmfire each effecting the weapon or armor's stats differently.
