The Ash of War: Palm Blast is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Standard affinity and the Palm Blast skill. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Palm Blast is the skill of the spiritual seekers of the Dryleaf Sect: the wielder imbues a hand with energy, then strikes with an open palm to unleash an explosive blast. Charging the strike makes the blast much stronger and wider, knocking enemies back, and grants a large amount of poise while charging. The blast is an extension of the weapon, so it also applies the weapon's status build-up. It suits hand-to-hand builds that want a strong stance-breaking finisher.
Stats
It grants the Standard affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Heavy, Keen, Quality, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 14 FP and can be charged. It fits Hand-to-Hand Arts.
How to Get Ash of War: Palm Blast Guide
- Ash of War: Palm Blast comes pre-equipped on the Dryleaf Arts, given by Dryleaf Dane after defeating him in a duel at the Moorth Ruins in the Gravesite Plain.
- The duel starts by performing the May the Best Win gesture in front of him.

Skill
Use the uncharged blast to combo into light or heavy attacks, and charge it against groups or staggered enemies. The charge can be held a little before releasing, which helps delay the hit against other players. Its charging sounds are quiet, which makes it effective in ambushes.
