The Flame Sling is a Fire Giant incantation in Elden Ring.
Flame Sling is an incantation originating from a sinister prophecy, a flame of ruin anathema to the Erdtree that earns the prophets who glimpse it only banishment. It throws a ball of fire, and charging raises the damage and makes the fireball explode on impact. Its low cost, low Faith requirement and dependable cast and projectile speed make it an easy early spell that stays useful for much of the game. Later on, spells such as Giantsflame Take Thee and Black Flame pull ahead in damage, and despite its fiery theme the Giant's Seal does not boost it, while the Godfrey Icon helps charged casts. It suits new faith characters and Prophets looking for a reliable ranged attack.
