The Gauntlets of Solitude are a pair of gauntlets in Elden Ring. They are part of Shadow of the Erdtree, found in Gravesite Plain.
The Gauntlets of Solitude are the steel gauntlets of the Knights of the Solitary Gaol, part of a heavy set of overlapping plates, and they drop from the Blackgaol Knight in the Western Nameless Mausoleum. Their dark steel plating completes the faceless warden look of the Solitude Set. For gauntlets they are heavy, adding strong physical defense and good poise. They suit heavy strength and dark paladin style builds working toward a high poise threshold.
Stats
They carry 10 poise at 8 weight, tied for the most poise among the gauntlets.
The Gauntlets of Solitude are the efficient way to reach the slot's maximum 10 poise, at 8.0 weight against Bull-Goat's 8.8, and they add 33 focus, second only to Braided Arm Wraps. Physical negation drops to 4.7, which costs almost nothing in practice, so they are the better pick wherever every point of equip load counts.
