The Heretical Rise is a sorcerer's tower west of the Freezing Lake in the eastern Mountaintops of the Giants. Its entrance is sealed, and puppet soldiers of the academy guard it. A sign nearby reads "Falling snow marks something unseen". The sorcery Founding Rain of Stars waits at the top.

1. Go to the broken bridge on the far side of the ravine.
2. Look for the falling snow that outlines an invisible walkway.
3. Follow the hidden walkway across, where it bends east and climbs up.
4. Enter the tower from above, which also lifts the seal on the main door.
