The Founding Rain of Stars is a Primeval sorcery in Elden Ring. It is one of the late rewards, found in the Mountaintops of the Giants.
Founding Rain of Stars is the eldest primeval sorcery, discovered by an ancient astrologer whose glimpse of the primeval current became real as the stars' amber rained down on the land. It summons a dark cloud of stars overhead that soon pours a steady rain of stars on the area below, and it can be cast while moving, with charging raising the damage. Its value depends on the enemy staying under the cloud and each new cast cancels the previous one, but the constant hits keep pressure on an enemy's stance so it cannot recover. When locked on to a target below, the rain homes toward that enemy, which helps from high ground and can knock PvP opponents off ladders. It suits sorcerers who want a zone-control spell rather than raw burst damage.
Effect
Summons a dark cloud of stars overhead that soon releases a heavy rain of stars on the area below; it can be cast while moving, and charging increases damage. Each cast costs 27 FP and 31 stamina and takes up two memory slots.
How to Get Founding Rain of Stars Guide
- Found in a chest at the top of Heretical Rise in the Mountaintops of the Giants.
- Reach the tower by an invisible bridge across the ravine east of the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook Site of Grace.
