The Mausoleum Knight Armor (Altered) is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Mausoleum Knight Set. It is a mid-game find.

The Mausoleum Knight Armor (Altered) is the altered form of the armor of the headless knights who endlessly guard the Wandering Mausoleums, loyal warriors who beheaded themselves to serve their masters in death. The wing-shaped ornaments on the back evoke the Deathbird, and altering the armor at a Site of Grace or with Boc changes its shape while keeping the same description. The altered version is about a full point of weight lighter with nearly the same defense and identical poise, a balanced medium weight chest piece. It suits melee builds that want sturdy mid weight protection with a dark knightly look, and the Mausoleum Knight outside the Black Knife Catacombs is an easy one to farm.

Stats

It offers 25 poise for 10.8 weight, one of the most weight-efficient choices in the slot.

Altering
