Miranda the Blighted Bloom is a dungeon boss in Elden Ring.

Miranda the Blighted Bloom is a giant man-eating flower that rules the end of Tombsward Cave on the Weeping Peninsula. Smaller Miranda Sprouts crowd around it in the cramped chamber. It fills the room with poisonous pollen and calls down beams of light. Fire burns it badly and breaks its attacks.

Lore

Miranda is a giant flower on a tall stalk, its blighted petals wrapped around a heavy bulb. It slams its head down on prey and scatters thick clouds of toxic pollen.

A statuette depicts this breed of flower that preys on humans, posed in prayer. Miranda, maiden of the Flower Crucible, is said to have been the very first of its kind.

Perfumers have long prized the fragrant pollen of the miranda flower, gathered before it scatters into the air.

Attacks

  • Poison Cloud: it slowly closes its petals and releases a lingering pollen cloud that builds poison fast; burn it with fire to interrupt or keep attacking through it.
  • Pollen Burst: its closed petals shake before a blast of pollen knocks foes back; roll away when the petals close.
  • Rain of Light: it rises high on its stalk and the ground around its target glows before beams of light rain down; move away as it rises, then return.
  • Head Slam: it leans back and slams its bulb down on nearby foes; roll aside or interrupt with fire.

Tactics

  1. Bring Neutralizing Boluses, since the poison cloud fills the small chamber.
  2. Clear the Miranda Sprouts first so they stop interrupting.
  3. Strike with a torch or other fire damage to set it ablaze and cancel its attacks.
  4. Stay aggressive and kill it before the poison wears down health.
  5. Step out of the glowing circle when it rises for the Rain of Light.
  6. Use strong or jumping heavy attacks to stagger it.
