The Torch is a Torch in Elden Ring. It can be picked up early in a run.

The Torch is a plain torch whose tip is wrapped in oil-soaked rags and set alight, able to light dark places or burn enemies. It is sold by Merchant Kale at the Church of Elleh for 200 runes, making it the earliest torch in the game, and the Twin Maiden Husks stock it once given Kale's Bell Bearing. Raised in the left hand it lights more of the surroundings, though from the left hand it cannot make light or heavy attacks. Its attacks deal fire damage that helps early on against enemies resistant to physical damage, and the flame staggers some enemies in a special way. It suits any character, especially early, needing only 5 Strength and 5 Dexterity.
