The Rain of Fire is a Messmer's Fire incantation in Elden Ring. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Rain of Fire is the incantation of Salza, sage of the Fire Knights, whose disdain for barbarism never waned even as he burned more villages than any other. It summons a cloud of flame over the locked-on target that pelts it with fire for about four seconds, hitting many times, and charging raises its power. Without lock-on the cloud appears right above the caster, and it can be cast at medium to long range. It shares its animation with Fire's Deadly Sin, cannot be cast on horseback, and is boosted by the Fire Knight's Seal, Messmer's Helm, the Fire Knight armor and the Godfrey Icon. It suits Messmer's flame faith builds that want sustained fire damage on slower targets.
Effect
Summons a cloud of flame over the target that rains fire on it for about four seconds; charging raises its power. Each cast costs 27 FP and 31 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
