Fire's Deadly Sin is a Fire Giant incantation in Elden Ring. It only becomes available late in a run.
Fire's Deadly Sin is an incantation born of a deeply ominous prophecy, in which the prophet despaired at the Erdtree, knowing the kindling would soon burst into ruinous flame. It sets the caster and the surrounding area ablaze, then keeps the caster burning for 40 seconds, damaging both them and any enemies close by, with charging strengthening the effect. The lingering burn ignores guarding and acts as a constant source of fire damage, which reliably resets frostbite so frost builds can trigger it again and again. The self-damage can be offset by regeneration such as the Blessed Dew Talisman or Blessing's Boon, and the Royal Remains set prevents it from ever killing the caster. It suits aggressive melee builds that want passive fire damage while fighting up close.
Effect
Sets the caster and the area ablaze; for 40 seconds the caster keeps burning, hurting both themselves and any foes close by. Charging enhances potency. Each cast costs 26 FP and 28 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Fire's Deadly Sin Guide
Collect the "Flightless Bird" Painting near the Fortified Manor, First Floor Site of Grace in Leyndell, Royal Capital, then visit the view it shows at Dominula, Windmill Village near the Windmill Heights Site of Grace, where the painter's spirit leaves the incantation.
