The Swamp of Aeonia is a vast swamp of Scarlet Rot in the middle of Caelid. Entry points surround it on every side. Its red waters build up rot in anyone who wades through them. Giant flowers of rot grow from the swamp, and servants of rot roam its banks. The Unalloyed Gold Needle and the Commander's Standard can be found here.
Lore
The swamp became the field of the last battle of the Shattering. Radahn and Malenia fought there to a standstill. Malenia unleashed her Scarlet Rot, and the land has rotted ever since.
