Unalloyed Gold Needle is a quest item in Elden Ring. It is picked up mid-game, in Caelid.
The Unalloyed Gold Needle is a broken golden needle made to ward off outer gods. It is thought to hold back the scarlet rot. Commander O'Neil drops it in the Swamp of Aeonia. It sits at the heart of Millicent's questline.
Use
Giving the broken needle to Sage Gowry gets it repaired. The repaired needle goes to Millicent at the Church of the Plague. She later removes it from her body and returns it. That restored needle can be offered at the Scarlet Aeonia flower after Malenia, Blade of Miquella falls, which gives Miquella's Needle.
Quest
It belongs to Millicent's quest. It is brought to Sage Gowry at Gowry's Shack. He repairs the needle so it can be given to Millicent.
