The Twinned Armor (Altered) is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Twinned Set. It is available within the first few hours of a run.

Twinned Armor (Altered) is D's gold and silver armor with the cape removed, keeping the same description of twins with one soul. Altering lowers the weight of the chest piece and trims resistances, while its negation stays close. The altered form cannot be accepted by D's brother during Fia's questline. It suits medium builds that prefer the capeless look.

Stats

It offers 24 poise for 12.8 weight.

Altering

Its unaltered form, Twinned Armor, weighs 13.7 instead of 12.8 and carries 25 poise instead of 24. Altering works at any Site of Grace.

How to Get Twinned Armor (Altered) Guide

The Twinned Armor (Altered) is made by altering the Twinned Armor at a Site of Grace. The Twinned Armor is part of the Twinned set, dropped by D, Hunter of the Dead when killed, or found with his body in the Roundtable Hold after the Weathered Dagger is returned to him.

Meet D, Hunter of the Dead in Limgrave or in the Roundtable Hold.
Start the Radahn Festival, then let Fia in the Roundtable Hold embrace the Tarnished to receive the Weathered Dagger.
Give the dagger to D and reload the area.
Loot the Twinned set from D's body in the newly opened room of the Roundtable Hold.
Killing D at any point also drops the set.
Alter the Twinned Armor at a Site of Grace to get its altered form.

Notes

"Armor depicting entwined twins of gold and silver. The two known as D are inseparable twins. They are two bodies and two minds, but a single soul. Not once do they stand together; not one word do they speak to one another. Perhaps this armor longs to find its way to the other D."
