D, Hunter of the Dead is a character in Elden Ring.

D, Hunter of the Dead is a Tarnished who hunts Those Who Live in Death and weeds out the Deathroot that spawns them. He is first met in Limgrave, warning travelers away from Summonwater Village. He introduces the Tarnished to Gurranq, Beast Clergyman, and later sells Golden Order incantations at the Roundtable Hold. His story ends with a dagger handed over on Fia's behalf.

Lore

D is a knight clad in the Twinned armor, which he and his twin brother both wear. His real name is Darian, and his twin is Devin.

He serves the Golden Order and despises the undead. He gathers Deathroot for Gurranq and seeks to stamp out every trace of Those Who Live in Death.

D carried one half of the Cursemark of Death without knowing what Fia wanted from him. When he took back the Weathered Dagger, she killed him in a quiet room of the Roundtable Hold.
