A Lantern For Mei is a quest from Mei, the Lunar New Year Trader. She once sold a paper lantern to the Carpenter, Cade, and wants to see its design again so she can offer lanterns for crafting. Cade left it in his old home town of Morwenna. Bringing it back unlocks the Paper Lantern (Short) and 75 XP.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Reach level 5 and finish Ringing In The New Year, then talk to Mei.
- Ask the Carpenter about the lantern. He remembers leaving it in Morwenna.
- Travel to Morwenna and search the town for the lantern.
- Pick up the lantern and bring it back to Mei.

Prerequisites
This quest opens after Ringing In The New Year, a quest from the Carpenter. The Carpenter tells of Mei, a trader who sells decorations for the Lunar New Year. She always followed the same route through the Low Meadows. Finding her on that route adds the Lunar New Year Trader and her wares. Mei then remembers a paper lantern she once sold to the Carpenter. She wants to see its design again so she can make more of them.
