Enshrouded - Armor

Armour in Enshrouded comes in five slots: head, chest, hands, legs and feet, and most pieces belong to a set.

Classes

Combat armour is made for one of three classes. Melee sets carry the most physical armour and boost health and strength, ranged sets dexterity and critical hits, and magic sets intelligence, mana and magical armour. Each piece also has its own effects, from more time in the Shroud to extra health.

Crafting and Loot

The Blacksmith crafts melee sets, the Hunter ranged sets and the Alchemist magic sets. Each recipe unlocks when you pick up its key material, usually a boss or Shroud drop. Crafted armour is rare quality; looted armour ranges from common to legendary. Some sets are only found in gold chests; the Elder, Radiant Paladin and Eagle Eye sets drop from the Albaneve Summits onwards.

Upgrades

Every piece of armour can be upgraded with runes, and armour mitigates at most 80% of incoming damage.

Cosmetics

Vanity slots change your look without touching your stats, and the Coloring Station dyes outfits. Cosmetic sets come from events, quests, townsfolk and Twitch Drops.
