Ringing In The New Year introduces Mei, the Lunar New Year Trader. The Carpenter remembers her: she sold decorations for the Lunar New Year and always travelled the same route through the Low Meadows. Finding her opens her wares and decorations.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Accept Bring Back The Pure Souls, then speak to the Carpenter.
- Travel to the Low Meadows and follow the old trade route.
- Find Mei's soul along the route and rescue her.
- Summon her in the base to open her shop.
Prerequisites
This quest follows Bring Back The Pure Souls, which the Flame gives after Growing Stronger Together and Carpentry Assistance. The Flame explains that the player can now reclaim the souls of those who died untouched by the Shroud or the Elixir. A note at Fenrig's Farm leads to the Wolf Cave, where the farmer Fenrig is rescued. He is summoned at the base from the Assistants category of the Summoning Staff. Afterwards, the Carpenter asks for help finding Mei-Yin Chen, the Lunar New Year Trader.
