Enshrouded - Gems

Gems are inserted into weapons to give them extra effects in Enshrouded. They go in at a Gem Forge, the only place a gem can be inserted, extracted, upgraded or recycled.

Every biome has three Gem Forges, mostly in the Shroud, and each forge upgrades gems only up to its own level; the strongest forges stand inside a Night Sanctum. Inserting, removing and upgrading cost Archaic Essence, which comes from Shroud Lairs, and recycling a gem refunds part of the essence spent on it.
