An Eternal Spell introduces eternal spells: staff ammunition with endless magic that never runs out. The Alchemist knows of one buried with its owner in an underground grave, the Buried Tomb. Skeletons guard it, and the reward is the Eternal Ice Bolt.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Staffs And Spells, then speak to the Alchemist.
- Travel to the Buried Tomb entrance marked on the map.
- Enter the tomb and fight through the skeletons.
- Find the Eternal Ice Bolt and take it. It can be loaded into a staff and used without limit.

Prerequisites
This quest opens after Staffs And Spells, a quest from the Alchemist. In it, the Alchemist crafts a Spiritual Cane, the first staff. Staffs fire spell charges, channels or eternal spells as their ammunition. The cane needs Shroud Wood, which only grows beneath the Shroud. With a staff in hand, the Alchemist talks about eternal spells. These spells never run out, and one of them lies buried with its old owner in a tomb.
