Staffs And Spells is the Alchemist's introduction to magic. He crafts a Spiritual Cane, the first staff. Staffs fire spell charges, channels or eternal spells as ammunition. The cane needs Shroud Wood, which only grows beneath the Shroud.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Speak to the Alchemist.
- Gather Shroud Wood from the trees beneath the Shroud.
- Craft the Spiritual Cane with the Alchemist.
Prerequisites
Two quests come first. Alchemist Needs Shelter comes from the Alchemist after Powerful Alchemy. He needs a sheltered bed near his work, and a bed placed in a protected spot is assigned to him. Making A Home comes from the Flame. It asks for a bed to add comfort and for food cooked over a fire. Once both are done, the Alchemist offers to craft his own staff.
