Enveloping Blood prepares the player for the Drak of the Veilwater Basin. The Hunter believes that drinking the same blood as the Drak is the way to beat them. The result is the Drak Soulward Flask, a potion that strengthens the player against the Drak and makes their written language readable.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Obtaining A Mill, then speak to the Hunter.
- Craft a Drak Soulward Flask at the Alchemist's workshop, or find one.
- Drink it before or during a fight with the Drak to feel its effect.
Prerequisites
This quest opens after Obtaining A Mill, a quest from the Alchemist. That quest leads to Riverreach, a mill town in the Veilwater Basin held by Scavengers. The town's sluice gates must be closed to stop the grinding machinery. A pickaxe then digs a way into the basement under the sawmill, where the Improved Millstone lies. Back home, the Alchemist crafts the Mill from it. With the Mill in place, the Hunter turns her thoughts to the Drak and their blood.
