Fertilised Farm Soil is the best Material for planting crops in. Plants will grow much faster in Fertilised Farm Soil than normal dirt, Farm soil or Sand.
How to get the Farm Soil
To get Fertilised Farm Soil you must first unlock the Farmer who will craft you Fertilised Farm Soil after you get the required materials to unlock the crafting recipe.
How to Craft Farm Soil
Fertilised Farm Soil can be crafted by the Farmer using the following materials:
- 10x Sand.
- 2x Fossilized Bone Dust.
- 2x Nitrate.
Note that you will be in the Nomad Highlands by the time you obtain these resources. It's recommended to use Farm Soil until then.
Unlimited Fertilised Farm Soil Guide
Once you have initially crafted Fertilised Farm Soil and placed it on the ground, you can use an exploit to get unlimited Fertilised Farm Soil. To do this use the Rake tool to terraform the Fertilised Farm Soil. Start spreading out the soil over the ground. After doing this swap to a pickaxe and start mining the Fertilised Farm Soil, this will give you more than you started with. Using this method its possible to get unlimited Fertilised Farm Soil.
