Gathering Wool In The Albaneve Summits brings a Yak to the base. Its wool becomes warmer padding kits and armour against the biting mountain winds. Yak herds graze near the Quiet Caves, though any yak can be tamed.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Ignite The Snowy Mountaintops, then speak to the Farmer.
- Craft at least three yak food baits.
- Travel to the yak herd near the Quiet Caves, marked on the map.
- Approach a yak carefully, throw bait near it and pet it while it feeds.
- Once it trusts the player, pick it up and take it home.

Prerequisites
This quest opens after Ignite The Snowy Mountaintops, a quest from the Flame. That quest needs Shroud Passage level 6 and the Alchemist's quest Among The Bluejays, which rewards the Ghost Glider. The Flame then points to a cave passage that leads up into the snowy mountains. Beyond it, the player ignites the Ancient Spire - Albaneve Summits and climbs to the top to speak to the Flame. After that, the Farmer wants a Yak for wool to fight the biting cold.
