The Glider is the first Glider you can unlock by crafting in Enshrouded. While it is widely considered the worst glider in the game, it is incredibly useful when ascending vertical distances using the Skill Updraft, since the glider has a slower speed than the other gliders available, its easier to use updraft to glide in a tight circle and ascend cliff faces if you have enough Mana.
The possibility to fly has always been a desirable trait. Press [Space] whilst in the air to open the Glider. Using the wind currents and the height of the starting point, it can be used to travel great distances in an instant.
