Unknown Waters is the start of fishing. The Hunter asks for fireflies without saying why. She plans to put them on a fishing line as bait. With the Simple Fishing Rod she teaches the player to make, any large body of water becomes a source of fish.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Growing Stronger Together, then speak to the Hunter.
- Catch at least five fireflies. They fly in the Springlands at night.
- Bring them to the Hunter.
- Craft a fishing rod as she shows.
- Put bait on the rod, fish in a large body of water and catch a fish.
- Show the catch to the Hunter.
Prerequisites
This quest follows Growing Stronger Together, which the Hunter gives. She remembers another Ancient Vault and believes a sleeping survivor lies inside. Finding the vault and summoning the survivor brings the Farmer to the base for food and crops. Once the Farmer has settled in, the Hunter wants to teach fishing. She asks for fireflies as bait and a simple fishing rod, and then for a first catch.
