Ancient Vault
Ancient Vaults are sealed Ancient buildings where a sleeping survivor rests in a Cinder Vessel.
Where to Find Ancient Vault - Map Location
The five craftsperson vaults are in the Springlands: Blacksmith north of the Cinder Vault, Alchemist in the far west, Hunter east of the Springlands spire, Farmer in the north-west, Carpenter in the Shroud south of the Low Meadows spire.

What's Inside
- Each vault holds one craftsperson: Blacksmith, Alchemist, Hunter, Farmer or Carpenter.
- Vaults have guards outside and inside (Scavengers, Vukah or Fell) plus traps such as electric traps, lava jumps and switch puzzles.
- The Bard sleeps under the Sunken Ancient City in the Blackmire, which is also marked as an Ancient Vault.
How to Unlock
The Flame's quest Find The Sleeping Survivor leads through the Shroud to the Blacksmith's vault, north of the Cinder Vault. That vault also unlocks the Summoning Staff recipe. The other vaults follow through quests of the rescued survivors. The Flame's Powerful Alchemy leads to the Alchemist in the far west of the Springlands. Hunter Becomes The Hunted leads to the Hunter, and the Hunter's Growing Stronger Together leads to the Farmer. The Alchemist's Carpentry Assistance leads to the Carpenter's vault, which lies inside the Shroud.

Rewards
Interacting with the Cinder Vessel rescues the survivor; the Blacksmith's vault also unlocks the Summoning Staff recipe. Rescued survivors are placed at the base with the Summoning Staff and unlock their crafting stations.
