The Mace of the Crusader is part of the Crusader's Relics, the set that first appeared in Oblivion's Knights of the Nine. It hits for 16 and burns the target for 15, which makes it a low tier weapon by damage and a collector's piece by everything else.
Weapon Enchantment
Burns the target for 15 points, and a target already on fire takes extra damage on top.
15 points is modest next to Akatosh's Talon at 50, so this is worth carrying for the set rather than for the numbers.
You can find full breakdown and information of all Weapon Enchantment Effects.
Where to Find the Mace of the Crusader Location?
- Part of the Divine Crusader Creation, which adds the whole Crusader's Relics set rather than the mace alone.
- The Sword of the Crusader carries the same 15 point fire enchantment on a weaker 14 damage sword.
Smithing Guide
Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
Tempering it needs the Arcane Blacksmith perk, because the weapon is enchanted. The material perk below doubles what each improvement is worth.
| Tempering Material | Perk |

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
