Sunder is a Dwemer artifact mace from the Sunder and Wraithguard Creation, with 15 base damage. Lord Kagrenac made it as one of the three tools built to tap the Heart of Lorkhan. It is claimed in the Sightless Vault, reached from Sightless Pit, during Legends Lost.
Weapon Enchantment
Each hit deals 5 points each of frost, fire and shock damage. It also deals 15 points of damage to the target's Stamina and Magicka. Sunder and Wraithguard strengthen each other when used together.

Sunder Map Location and Quest Guide

Sunder is claimed in the Sightless Vault, which opens from inside Sightless Pit. Legends Lost begins with the Lost Caravan Guard's Note.
- Read the Lost Caravan Guard's Note in the New Gnisis Cornerclub.
- Follow the notes at the lost caravans and in the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun.
- Take the Attunement Crystal from the last caravan.
- Travel to Sightless Pit and open the Sightless Vault with the crystal.
- Solve the steam valve puzzles.
- Defeat the Messenger and claim Sunder.

Smithing Guide
Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
Upgrades
Sunder is improved at a grindstone with one Dwarven Metal Ingot per improvement. The Dwarven Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
Sunder has the same damage at every character level.
