Wraithguard is a unique heavy armor gauntlet from the Sunder & Wraithguard Creation. It is one of the three tools the Dwemer Lord Kagrenac made to tap the power of the Heart of Lorkhan. The quest Legends Lost leads to it in the Sightless Vault.

Armor Enchantment

Wraithguard grows stronger when worn together with Sunder or Keening, two other tools of Kagrenac.

Wraithguard Map Location and Quest Guide

Wraithguard map location:

Wraithguard is claimed in the Sightless Vault, reached from Sightless Pit. It is the reward of Legends Lost, which starts in the New Gnisis Cornerclub in Windhelm.

Read the Lost Caravan Guard's Note on the bar of the New Gnisis Cornerclub in Windhelm.
Follow the notes from caravan to caravan, ending at the camp northwest of Peak's Shade Tower.
Take the Attunement Crystal and travel to Sightless Pit.
Use the crystal to open the Sightless Vault near the exit of the pit.
Solve the steam valve puzzles and defeat the Messenger.
Claim Wraithguard and Sunder.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

Wraithguard is improved at a workbench with one Dwarven Metal Ingot per improvement. The Dwarven Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
