Grausten floor 4x4 is one slab four metres to a side, cut from eight blocks of Grausten. Laying a hall floor two metres at a time is slow, and this tile speeds it up. It sits in the Flooring section with the smaller tiles, and it is the piece to grab when you need to cover a great hall, a courtyard or a fortress roof deck in a hurry.

How to Build It

You need eight Grausten and a Stonecutter in range. Per square metre it is the cheapest floor in the set, using half the stone of the 2x2 tile for the same area. Plan rooms in fours and fill the leftovers with the smaller slabs. Like everything cut from this stone, it takes its support from the ground and other stonework, so it will not bridge open air off timber.
