A Princess in Distress is a short main quest inside Family Matters. Geralt asks the Pellar of Blackbough to find out what happened to the baron's wife and daughter. The Pellar needs his goat, Princess, for the ritual. The goat has run off into the woods, and Geralt has to bring her home.
A Princess in Distress Map Location and Quest Guide
A Princess in Distress map location:
- Take the bell from the Pellar.
- Search the woods behind the Pellar's hut.
- Kill the wolves that attack in the woods.
- Follow the goat's tracks and bleating with Witcher Senses.
- Ring the bell close to Princess so she follows.
- Ring the bell again whenever she wanders off.
- Follow Princess when she runs toward the cave, and kill the bear that attacks her.
- Lead Princess back to the Pellar's hut.
- Talk to the Pellar.
