Carnal Sins is a secondary quest in Novigrad that begins right after Cabaret. On the opening night of Dandelion's cabaret, a messenger from Vilmerius Hospital brings bad news. Priscilla has been badly wounded in an attack. Geralt sets out to find the killer behind a string of similar murders in the city.

Carnal Sins Map Location and Quest Guide

Carnal Sins map location:

  1. Go with Dandelion to Vilmerius Hospital and talk to Joachim von Gratz.
  2. Follow von Gratz through the sewers to the morgue, fighting drowners and a water hag.
  3. Find the dwarven woodcarver's body with Witcher Senses and examine it.
  4. Talk to the coroner, Hubert Rejk, before Nathaniel Pastodi sends Geralt away.
  5. Investigate the alley where Priscilla was attacked and win the fistfight there.
  6. Search the woodcarver's yard and workshop, where his brother Gus lets Geralt in.
  7. Talk to Eustace, the corpse collector.
  8. Return to the coroner and look over the newest body.
  9. Go to the Vegelbud Residence and follow Ingrid to Patricia's room.
  10. Chase the murderer and survive the fight with the guards.
  11. Search Patricia's body for the note that names the next victim.
  12. Find Sweet Nettie on the top floor of Crippled Kate's.
  13. Talk to Nathaniel before deciding what to do with him.
  14. Go to the warehouse by the docks and kill the vampire.
  15. Loot the vampire for Deargdeith and a Katakan Mutagen.
  16. Return to the hospital and talk to Dandelion.

Choices

After the morgue, Geralt can visit three places in any order. Once two are done, a guard says the coroner wants to see him. The third place can still be visited first. Geralt can pay Eustace 200 crowns or use Axii at Delusion level 2 to make him talk.

At Crippled Kate's, Geralt finds Reverend Nathaniel about to torture Sweet Nettie with a hot poker. Geralt can attack at once or talk first. Talking reveals that Nathaniel, cruel as he is, is not the killer. Geralt can then kill him, drive him off with Axii at Delusion level 3, or leave.

Killing Nathaniel without talking to him ends the hunt there. Geralt then cannot find the real killer, the coroner Hubert Rejk. Hearing Nathaniel out leads to the warehouse, where Hubert reveals that he is a vampire.
