Feline Steel Sword - Superior is the Superior tier of the Feline (Cat School) steel sword, witcher gear from the base game. It deals 248-304 damage at level 29, with +10% chance to cause bleeding and +5% crit chance. Its diagram is in the Cavern north of Temple Isle in Novigrad. It is a mid-game blade.
It also gives +5% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans and has 3 rune slots. Compared with the Enhanced tier, it adds +5% crit chance and a third rune slot.
Upgrading from the Enhanced tier keeps its runestones, but a runeword is lost.
Set Bonus
The Feline set is light armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 17, Enhanced at 23, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The set bonuses come with the Grandmaster tier. 3 pieces: a strong attack raises fast attack damage by 10% per set piece worn, for 5 seconds. 6 pieces: rear attacks deal 50% more damage and stun the target, at a cost of 1 adrenaline point.

The pin marks the Cavern north of Temple Isle in Novigrad. A golem guards the Feline Steel Sword - Superior diagram, which sits in a chest on a wooden platform inside. It turns up during Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3, and a journeyman blacksmith crafts the sword from it.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3 by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying Adalbert Kermith's third map from the quartermaster at Crow's Perch.
- Travel to the Cavern north of Temple Isle.
- Head inside and kill the golem guarding the chest.
- Loot the chest on the wooden platform for the steel sword diagram.
