Forgotten Wolven Armor is the Standard tier of the Forgotten Wolven chest armor, a medium witcher gear item. It gives 139 armor at level 20, with +8% attack power and +8% adrenaline point gain. Reinald gives Geralt the diagram at the end of In the Eternal Fire's Shadow in Velen. It belongs to the middle of the game.
It also gives +6% piercing, +12% slashing, +15% monster and +15% elemental resistance. Attack power and adrenaline gain together suit a hybrid sword build. The set bonuses add longer potions and extra Aard damage on targets inside Yrden.
Set Bonus
The Forgotten Wolven set is medium armor. It has three tiers: Standard at level 20, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: potions last 7% longer per set piece worn. 6 pieces: Aard deals extra damage to enemies affected by Yrden.
How to Get Forgotten Wolven Armor
- Play the secondary quest In the Eternal Fire's Shadow at Grayrocks in Velen.
- Reinald hands over the diagram at the end of the quest, however it ends.
- Have an armorer craft it.
Forgotten Wolven Armor Map Location and Quest Guide
The witcher Reinald gives Geralt the Forgotten Wolven Armor diagram in a cutscene at the end of In the Eternal Fire's Shadow, a secondary quest at the Devil's Pit in Velen. The pin marks that scene, which hands over the diagrams for the whole set.
- Speak to the priest of the Eternal Fire at the Devil's Pit in Velen to start In the Eternal Fire's Shadow. He gives Geralt the key to the mine.
- Unlock the mine gate and follow the path through the mine to the doors with Reinald's fifth letter.
- Free Reinald from the salt stalagmites with Aard.
- Defeat the possessed Reinald, then the Red Miasmal.
- Talk to Reinald after the fight. He gives Geralt his armor and sword diagrams, the Forgotten Wolven Armor diagram among them.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Legendary Forgotten Wolven Armor instead. It needs level 19 plus the NG+ starting level and gives 136 armor at level 20 (+5 per level), with the same bonuses.
