Gedyneith is a sacred oak tree in a grove in the northeastern forests of Ard Skellig. All Skelligers hold the oak sacred. Both the druids and the followers of Freya worship it. The most important ceremonies in the isles take place here, from weddings to royal coronations.

History
The druids of Skellige live at Gedyneith. Their homes are grottoes dug into the hill where the oak stands. The grove is also the seat of the hierophant of Skellige.
