Story

In Imperial Audience, Geralt and Yennefer arrive at the palace. Geralt's bath is interrupted by the emperor's chamberlain, who has his beard shaved off. Morvran Voorhis, a Nilfgaardian commander, questions Geralt about his past. Geralt then learns how to bow before the emperor. Emhyr asks him to find Ciri, and Yennefer tells him of her own search so far. From the palace, Geralt sets out for Velen.

Later, in Ugly Baby, Nilfgaardian soldiers stop Geralt and order him to ride to Vizima. He reports to the emperor and presents Uma as a lead in the search for Ciri.
