Legendary Forgotten Wolven Boots are the NG+ variant of Forgotten Wolven Boots, the Standard tier of the set. They give 49 armor and +6% Yrden sign intensity at level 20. Reinald gives Geralt the diagram at the end of In the Eternal Fire's Shadow in Velen. They count as late-game boots, needing level 19 over the NG+ starting level.

They also give +2% piercing, +2% bludgeoning, +4% slashing and +2% monster resistance. Their bonuses match the regular boots. The Yrden bonus ties in with the 6-piece set bonus, which adds Aard damage on enemies inside Yrden.

Set Bonus

The Forgotten Wolven set is medium armor. It has three tiers: Standard at level 20, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: potions last 7% longer per set piece worn. 6 pieces: Aard deals extra damage to enemies affected by Yrden.

How to Get Legendary Forgotten Wolven Boots

  • In NG+, play the secondary quest In the Eternal Fire's Shadow at Grayrocks in Velen.
  • Reinald hands over the diagram at the end of the quest, however it ends.
  • Have an armorer craft them.

Legendary Forgotten Wolven Boots Map Location and Quest Guide

Reinald gives Geralt the Legendary Forgotten Wolven Boots diagram at the end of In the Eternal Fire's Shadow, a secondary quest at the Devil's Pit in Velen. The pin marks the spot, where the diagram arrives during the closing cutscene along with the rest of his armor and sword diagrams. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.

  1. Speak to the priest of the Eternal Fire at the Devil's Pit in Velen to start In the Eternal Fire's Shadow. He gives Geralt the key to the mine.
  2. Unlock the mine gate and follow the path through the mine to the doors with Reinald's fifth letter.
  3. Free Reinald from the salt stalagmites with Aard.
  4. Defeat the possessed Reinald, then the Red Miasmal.
  5. Talk to Reinald after the fight. He gives Geralt the Legendary Forgotten Wolven Boots diagram with the rest of his armor and sword diagrams.
