The pin marks the Devil's Pit in Velen, where Reinald's spirit hands Geralt the Forgotten Wolven diagrams at the end of In the Eternal Fire's Shadow. In New Game +, the Legendary Forgotten Wolven Silver Sword diagram comes with the rest of the set, however the quest ends.

1. Speak to the young Eternal Fire priest by the Devil's Pit signpost in Velen to start In the Eternal Fire's Shadow. He gives Geralt the key to the mine.
2. Unlock the gate at the bottom of the Devil's Pit and enter the mine.
3. Follow the mine to the doors with Reinald's fifth letter pinned to them.
4. Free Reinald from the salt stalagmites with Aard.
5. Defeat the possessed Reinald, then the red miasmal that leaves his body.
6. Talk to Reinald's spirit. He gives Geralt the Forgotten Wolven diagrams.
