Legendary Wolven Boots are the NG+ variant of the basic Wolven Boots, medium Wolf School witcher gear. They give 87 armor and +11% attack power at level 39. Their diagram is in the cave beneath the old signal tower in Kaer Morhen. They need level 14 on top of the NG+ starting level, which makes them late game.
They also give +5% piercing, +5% bludgeoning, +6% slashing and +4% monster resistance. Against the regular Wolven Boots, they raise attack power from 5% to 11%. That suits a sword build.
Set Bonus
The Wolven set is medium armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 14, Enhanced at 21, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: each bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece worn. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.
How to Get Legendary Wolven Boots
- In NG+, start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear.
- Use the polished crystal and Aard to open the portal in the old signal tower south of the Kaer Morhen signpost.
- Take the diagram from the skeleton in the cave, with the armor, gauntlets and trousers diagrams.
- Have an armorer craft them.
Legendary Wolven Boots Map Location and Quest Guide
The Legendary Wolven Boots diagram lies on a skeleton in a cave beneath the old signal tower, a ruin just south of the Kaer Morhen signpost, reached through Hieronymus' portal in the tower. The pin marks the diagram spot, a stop of Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear. It is the New Game + counterpart of the Wolven Boots diagram and lies at the same spot.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying the Slightly Torn Notes by Hieronymus from the blacksmith in Lindenvale.
- Go to the old signal tower just south of the Kaer Morhen signpost. Ride down the valley and back up to reach it, and watch for erynias on the steps.
- Go straight in, climb over the wall and up the scaffolding to the first level. Read Hieronymus' Notes from the chest there.
- Climb through the crack in the wall to the right of the exit. Follow the outer scaffolding and take the Polished Crystal from the ledge above.
- Mount the crystal in the portal mechanism and charge it with Aard. Then hit the opposite mechanism to steady the portal.
- Jump through the portal and kill the wraith near the cave exit.
- Loot the skeleton for the Legendary Wolven Boots diagram. The other three armor diagrams of the set are on it too.
