Necrophage Oil is a blade oil for fighting Necrophages. This base tier adds +10% attack power against them and holds 20 charges.
Coat the sword before a fight with drowners, ghouls or other Necrophages. One brew lasts the whole game. The Enhanced and Superior variants raise the bonus to 25% and 50%.
Necrophages
Necrophages are a class of monster in The Witcher 3. Drowners, Ghouls, Alghouls, Rotfiends, Foglets, Grave Hags and Water Hags all belong to it. Grave Hags, for example, feed on human corpses.

Necrophage Oil comes in Base, Enhanced and Superior variants. Each one is brewed from the tier below it.

How to Get Necrophage Oil
The formula is available from the start of the game, in Lilac and Gooseberries. Brew it from the alchemy menu, outside combat, with 1 Dog Tallow and 4 Blowball.
