Orianna
Type	Character
Race	Vampire
Location	Toussaint
DLC	Blood and Wine

Orianna is a wealthy noblewoman of Beauclair and a patroness of many local artists. Behind that face she hides a vampire. She is an old friend of Regis. Geralt meets her in Blood and Wine, at a soirée in her estate during the main quest The Man from Cintra.

Lore

---

Orianna supports many of the artists in Toussaint. She also runs an orphanage outside the walls of Beauclair. Most people who meet her feel ill at ease, though few can say why. She owns the Heart of Toussaint, a jewel that once belonged to the ducal family.

Story

---

In The Man from Cintra, Geralt and Anna Henrietta attend a soirée held by the Mandragora at Orianna's estate. A thief from Cintra comes that night to steal the Heart of Toussaint from her. Orianna cannot unsettle Geralt, but he senses that she is no ordinary aristocrat. Before the evening ends, she appears with Regis. The two have known each other for a very long time.

When Dettlaff's vampires flood Beauclair, Geralt needs help to find the Unseen Elder. He can seek out Orianna for it. In Blood Simple, he finds her about to leave for her orphanage. She is too worried to listen to him, so Geralt rides along. At the orphanage, they find that a garkain has carried out a bloody massacre among her wards. Orianna promises to help find the Unseen Elder, on one condition. Geralt must first bring her the head of the beast.

Geralt kills the garkain and returns to Orianna. He then learns her secret. She uses the orphanage as a kind of blood cellar and drinks from the orphans' necks whenever the urge strikes her. Geralt wants to draw his silver sword on her. Saving the city matters more, though, so he holds back. He swears that they will meet again one day. Orianna tells him where to find the Unseen Elder and gives him the key to the Elder's cave.

Relationships

---

Regis calls Orianna a friend, though she is far less humane than he is. Geralt despises her once he learns the truth about the orphanage.
